The Big 5 in a day
Thanks to the Ishara family, we had an incredible experience on our first ever safari. We managed to see the Big 5 all in one day thanks to the skilful driving and spotting of Kelvin and Tyson. The experiences created by the team will stay with us forever. We hope to visit again one day.

Impeccable, exquisite, ethereal and sublime barely scratch the surface as words one could use to describe Ishara. From the moment we walked across the bridge, we knew we were some place very special — and we hadn’t even gotten far enough across to see that we were being serenaded!
We are leaving with full hearts and full bellies, which demonstrates the level of care and attention we have been shown. While the game viewing stirs excitement and the tented accommodations are so regal that you forget you’re in a tent, those two entities are really just a bonus because the very heart of Ishara is the Ishara family; such a spectacular, warm, authentic, personable, loving and professional group of people — people who love their culture and live to celebrate it — who have truly made us feel like we are a part of. Never did we anticipate such special care and such wonderful connections. The property is visually stunning, the culinary program is absolutely divine and the spa nestled among the trees is one of the most relaxing places you can be. Until the day we return, we carry the fondest of memories and beaded gifts we already treasure that will remind us daily of spectacular Ishara.
