It was a soulful, heartfelt experience
I came to Ishara for my birthday with the dream of witnessing the incredible wildlife of the Masai Mara. But what I hadn’t anticipated was how deeply we’d fall in love with the spirit and warmth of the Maasai culture and the extraordinary team here. From the moment we arrived, every single member of the Ishara family went above and beyond to make this the most unforgettable birthday of my life.
The local folklore songs, the joyful dances – they made me feel not like a guest, but like family. This trip for me & Shree was far more than just a safari – it was a soulful, heartfelt experience. Thank you for making my birthday so special; we carry memories that will last a lifetime.

Everyone has gone above and beyond and every little thing and moment has been truly thought about and we are so grateful for it. We were not sure what to expect from the safari experience although it has been a childhood dream. Everything has been beyond anything we could have dreamed of with the most special (late) birthday here in Kenya with our new family. We are so sad to leave but it is not goodbye, it is see you soon!
